The After-School Program begins on the second day of school in August and will operate on all full school days until the last week of school.  It is open to all children in Kindergarten through Grade 3 who attend Roland Park Elementary School.  Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to students who are returning to the program from the previous year. The program is closed any time Baltimore City Schools are closed.  This includes early dismissal for professional days, heat and/or snow.  Please have an emergency plan in place to arrange for your child to be picked up for early dismissals, which usually occur at 12:30 p.m.  Students cannot by dropped off in the program if there is no one to pick the child up, even for emergency situations.  The After-School program consists of a wide variety of activities that stimulate the whole child.  Science, art and gym are offered on a rotating basis weekly.  In each classroom, there is time set aside for homework.  The After-School teachers offer arts and crafts, outside play and free play.  A snack is provided daily.  For more information, please contact Deborah Claiborne, Program Director, at (410)396-6420,

Fees
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $40.00 per child due at the time of registration.  The full time fee ( Monday- Friday 2:45-6:00 p.m.) is $210.00 per month or $10.50 per day.  Part-time (Monday-Friday 2:45- 4:30 p.m.) tuition is $185.00 per month or $9.25 per day.  Payment is due by the 10th of each month.  A 10% discount is offered if more than one child is enrolled. 

Fitness Fun & Games

When school is closed for the day, full-day care is offered at the Fitness Fun & Games locations at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 6300 Harford Rd., 410-444-2649 and the Community Center, 3309 Bayonne Ave, 410-444-5778. Pre-registration and a fee are required.
